Q: I love your videos and the programme sounds fantastic but I am a little scared. I am not sure I should take that leap.
A: It’s completely understandable that you are a little apprehensive but the course really is designed to help anyone along their dog trainer journey despite where their starting point may be. We have had people join who already have one small weekly class, people with relatively well established classes, and people who have a passion for dogs and training just looking for the new step to change their career completely. The course covers everything from marketing to lesson plans to ensure that you are fully clued up on every aspect.
However, we do understand that it is a big commitment but for reassurance we do offer a 14 day money back guarantee which will allow you time to see what you think of the course yourself.
Q: What format is this course in?
A: The format of the PDT course is video lessons with supporting PDF downloads where applicable. You also get access to the training academy which is in the form of simple 3 minute games you can use with your own dogs or your students. This really caters for every kind of learner and really allows you to reach your potential.
Q: Will there be an assessment? If so, how does it work?
A: Yes, there will be an online assessment at the end of the ten weeks which can be taken straight away or anytime within the one year access to the programme.
Q: What’s the difference between Training Academy and Pro Dog Trainer
A: The Pro Dog Trainer course is a stand-alone 10-week course specifically aimed at anyone looking to take their dog training to the next level either for themselves or with a view to progressing to making the leap to making dog training a new career. It covers everything from marketing to lesson plans to ensure that you are fully clued up on every aspect.
The Training Academy aims to grow dog owners and trainers knowledge and skills in many different areas - it is in the form of simple 3 minute games you can use with your own dogs or your students.
Q: What if I don’t have a dog?
A: We have had many members start the course without a dog in their life. To gain hands on experience, they have volunteered at rescue centres, offered to help with friends or family member’s dogs, neighbour’s dogs, etc. Being creative and resourceful is a skill we really work to develop and grow in the Pro Dog Trainer course. Where there is a will, there is a way!
